Safika Resources, a subsidiary of South Africa’s Safika Holdings (Pty) Ltd, holds a 39.66% interest in Ntsimbintle Holdings. The John Taolo Gaetsewe Developmental Trust is the company’s second largest shareholder with a 14.47% interest. The Trust is dedicated to community upliftment in the Northern Cape area, where the Tshipi Borwa manganese mine is situated. The other 12 shareholders include community upliftment groups, women empowerment and entrepreneurial entities based largely in the Northern Cape.
